How did you meet?

Our first encounter was over a game of pool at a local pub, fate had us bump into each other a few more times before we really got chatting and the rest is history.....

How long did it take you to plan?

I always thought that I would have a short engagement, but in the end we planned over 2 years. Booking so far ahead meant that we could have the summer weekend date that we wanted and we didn't feel rushed into making decisions.

What made you choose your venue?

We visited a few different venues but we just knew that Moxhull Hall was perfect for us as soon as we saw it. Its not a massive venue but could accommodate our daytime numbers with a larger party on the evening.

Moxhill has many different inside and outside areas that allow you to move through the hotel and grounds and into their marquee on the evening, this worked so well for us. we were blessed with glorious weather on the day which allowed us to get married in the gorgeous garden ceremony area.

Which suppliers did you use?

Our day was captured by Big Day Productions video services and my flowers were made up by Julie from Flowers of Hagley, my sister made us the most amazing 5 tier cake decorated with handmade iced flowers, which looked so real, it was beautiful.

And of course I cannot recommend Dream Days enough! My dress was a Justin Alexander ball gown style with sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice with a full tulle skirt,

I chose a full length cathedral length veil with was so perfect and made me feel like a princess, Dream Days also provided our beautiful bridesmaid dresses and accessories everything was even more stunning than we could have ever imagined.

What was the highlight of your day?

It was all so perfect but one thing that does stand out was after our wedding breakfast, we hired a siner who played guitar and sang as every one sat around in the beautiful sunshine. He played our chosen style and everyone joined in singing and dancing together, the moment was filled with pure joy.
