When Julie and Dean decided to get married, there was only one place that fit the bill, Las Vegas of course.

Dean and I met in 2012 on a Facebook reunion group, we had gone to the same school and were in the same year but somehow we had never known each other. We got chatting and decided to meet and it all went from there.

The wedding was in the planning for around 12 months, we would have liked to have got married sooner but as we wanted all our friends and family to be with us so we thought we better give them plenty of notice. We did all our research on the internet and by chance the Graceland Chapel popped up on a top 10 places to get married in Vegas. As we wanted an Elvis themed wedding it seemed the perfect place. Deans parents were fans of Elvis and although they are sadly no longer with us we felt it was something that they would have enjoyed and it brought them closer to us on the day. We also found out that Bon Jovi had got married there so that was it, our minds were made up.

Graceland Chapel, LasVegas

On the day of the wedding the ladies were collected in a huge hummer to meet the men at the chapel.

Arriving in style in our huge hummer.

Elvis was waiting to walk me down the aisle singing ''Love me Tender'' Elvis was very tall and seemed like a giant as I am only 5'1'', we laughed so much.

Elvis walked me down the aisle.

I had instructed my Mom to get everyone singing and swaying to our second song "The Wonder of You" however she got a little carried away swinging my bouquet about and a couple of flower flew out, it was so funny. The vows all said Elvis finished off his set with what else ''Viva Las Vegas'' We absolutely loved it.

After the ceremony we got back in the hummer and posed in front of the iconic Las Vegas sign. Which is a must for anyone visiting Vegas,

Julie and Dean and there wedding party in Vegas.

After our meal we boarded a a party bus and went to the famous Bellagio fountains for more pictures then back to the hotel to sit outside and reflect on the day. It was fabulous, we could not have asked for more.

I chose my dress from Dream Days in Dudley. I knew I wanted a tea length dress and the ladies at dream Days knew just what would suit me, I loved visiting the store, I was always made to feel special and I was excited every time I had to visit. The Graceland Chapel were brilliant and recommended transport, hairdressers, restaurants etc. We chose a Brazillian Restaurant for our reception called Fogo de Chao who were fabulous. My foam rose bouquet and guest flowers were made by interflora flower shop in Brierley Hill which were perfect for me to pack and take with me.

Our day was amazing and if I could offer one word of advice I would say '' Make the day, YOUR day, not what others want, you will remember it for the rest of your life and just enjoy every moment.''

We would like to thank all our family and friends for coming with us to Vegas we love each and every one of you, and thank you to everyone else who helped make this happen.
