'I don't think I can pick one highlight as i just loved every second of the day'
What a day it was for Jess and her new husband,
They got married on the 20th of July 2024 at Ye Olde punchbowl, Country inn and Gardens and what a venue it was.
Here's what Jess had to say....
It was a very emotional morning with my bridesmaids, mom, Louie and nan. The bridesmaids had all wrote letters for me to read on the morning with pictures from my hen dos, I got even more emotional when I had a card and gift from my husband to be so there were many tears.
At 2:30 our ceremony began and Bobby was waiting at the end with our son Louie.
After our ceremony all our guests threw confetti over us before the rain started.
We enjoyed our canopes and then we moved onto the speeches where there were even more tears and plenty of laughter. As the rain eased our photographer started our pictures with family and friends, we were all ready to party so when the photos were being taken we were having a boogie on the bridge.
Our first dance came which was 'in case you didn't know by Brett young, where our made of honour popped a balloon over our head full of balloons and confetti. We then cut our cake which we found very tricky.
We gave out cupcakes to our guests the rest of the night we danced our little feet off. We ended the night with our guests lighting sparklers and us walking through holding hands.
What was the highlight from you special day?
I don't think I have one special highlight because I just loved every single moment.
What's your advice to future brides?
Take time throughout the day to be with your husband, always check in with each other, we took 5 minutes out from everyone a few times and just chatted as a new Married couple. Near the end of the night we walked and just sat on a bench and just spoke about the day for about 20 minutes away from everyone else and just took it all in and I think we needed that as we were with everyone else most the night. I would definitely recommend that.
I would also like to thank all my bridesmaids they were amazing on the day, nothing was too much. Also a big thank you to my mom, she was my rock throughout the morning of the wedding even though we were both emotional.
With thanks too
